I've upgraded to an SQ5, so my faithful steed and daily driver for the past 3 years is ready for a new stable. Only an SQ5 came close to the Avant in terms of performance, comfort and cargo room, so it was the only way I'd let this car go. I love all the space this car has as anyone who's had a wagon can tell you. There's a long list of maintenance and upgrades so I'll list it off in point form here.

Upgrades/Maintenance:

-Timing chains/guides done at 209K

-Front hubs done at same time

-Front lower control arms and ball joints done 60K ago. Alignment done at same time.

- KYB Shocks installed 24K ago

- Lowering springs at approx 200K (believe they're H&R, but not sure)

- APR Stage 2 tune, including the bluetooth dongle so can be monitored/changed right from inside the car.
Stage 2 Mods include CTS Downpipe, K04 Turbo, and 91 and 93 octane tunes, but appears to be stock intercooler and exhaust beyond the downpipe.

- New Power steering pump AND A/C compressor last fall. Both work fantastic and the AC is ice cold.

- Running on B8 S4 Wheels with good 255/35/19 Tires.

-Dongle and Tune2Air for bluetooth audio streaming from the stock stereo.

- Tint increased on all windows but still light enough in the front I've never gotten hassled for it in the 3 years I've driven it. Tails lightly tinted too.

-3M on front of hood and fenders to protect Vs rock chips.

- Even includes the original manuals, emergency key and the rare Tonneau Cover still intact.

-No check engine, Air Bag or any other warning lights. not even a bulb alarm.

Of course, it's not perfect and there are some issues, just nothing that bothered me driving it for the last 3 years-anything I needed fixed I got done already.

- Sunroof cable is broken. I never cared as I don't use it. Cheap fix if you want it done.
- Burns some oil between oil changes, occasionally I'll even see a bit of blue smoke, B8 2.0's are known for this but it still runs super smoothly.
-Small oil leak from somewhere in front case. Doesn't make a puddle but sometimes I'd see a couple drops, and you can see it hazing on the underside of the engine. Again a very common B8 condition.
- Again like most B8 2.0's it has some blow-by at higher boost. I've got an Evil Energy Catch can setup ready to install that should take care of this.
- Status is Rebuilt, haven't looked into why, but the good news is that it's passed the full inspection and not many cars of this age could, so it's in better than typical shape.
- Minimal rust or body damage, but the body isn't perfect, just lots better than the typical 15 year old car.

Overall it's a beautiful car that's a ton of fun to drive and gets lots of attention due to its look and stance. Definitely quicker than stock but super economical on gas if you're not putting your foot into it. Ready to continue being a daily driver or more, as this platform has a ton of ways to enjoy.
