Castle Durham 900 bookshelf speakers

Castle is a high end British speaker manufacturer, known for the quality components, beautiful cabinets which results in stunning detail and clarity in their sound.

These particular speakers are in beautiful original, unmolested original condition. I have polished the cabs and treated the rubber surrounds with rubber renew.

The dust caps are not dented, they are dimpled like that from factory. Dual binding posts with original factory jumpers so bi ampable! Grills are original with no pulls or tears. All original badging in place.

How do they sound?

Like many British speakers, they image very well, even better on their side! Vocals are very good, surprising bass as well. I've been driving these with a little NAD 3020 and they sound amazing!
While I have been thoroughly impressed with all genres through these speakers, they truly do vocals and strings on another level. Would be fantastic in a smaller room for audiophile near field listening!
