This Midge is second issue with her markings being : Midge T.M. 1962 Barbie R (in circle) 1958 by Mattel Inc. Patented . She is #0860 . 1964 date . The marking is on one hip of doll as usual.
It is in a #860 box , Japan , but she is #0860 from 1964. Box very nice but no holder . I have included a 1962 yellow booklet which shows Midge , Barbie and the vintage outfits. These booklets are usually lost.
Her hair is curled up in original styling. Clean ,new looking swimsuit. No play here.

Midge has flipped up blonde hair with bangs, freckles. Like new. Wears matching blue open toe shoes. I keep talcum powder on her legs and arms as they feel a little sticky. The older dolls from the 60s were made from oil . She is straight leg (no bend) . Hips are good . No tag on wrist.
THIS IS NOT , no longer , A PLAY DOLL AND THE LEGS should not be moved back and forth .
