We're looking for a meticulous and well-organized Data Entry Specialist to ensure our financial records are accurate and our accounting processes run smoothly. You'll work closely with and under the supervision of our main accountant in a supportive office environment.
What You'll Do:
* Handle basic email tasks and accurately record financial transactions.
* Keep financial records current, including ledgers, invoices, and receipts.
* Manage incoming and outgoing mail and email.
* Make accounts payable calls and handle accounts receivable collections.
* Enter data and maintain up-to-date financial records.
* Communicate with vendors and customers to address billing questions and issues.
* Perform general office tasks like answering phones and purchasing office supplies.
What You'll Need:
* Previous experience in Data Entry Specialist is essential.
* Strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Windows, Word, Excel).
* Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, AccountEdge) is a plus.
Job Details:
* Type: Full-time
* Pay: $600.00 - $800.00 weekly
* Hours: 40 per week
* Overtime pay available
* Schedule: Monday to Friday
* Education: Secondary School diploma preferred
* Experience: 2 years of front desk and administrative experience required
