**Employment Type:** Full-Time / Seasonal (Adjust as needed)
**Hours:** [ 9am – 4:30pm, with flexibility as needed]
**Compensation:** Hourly wage competitive
Job Summary
We are seeking a responsible, hands-on Farm Manager to oversee and maintain daily operations across our mixed-use farm, which includes a U-pick blueberry patch, lawn and garden areas, and a small poultry operation. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and passionate about sustainable farming practices and animal care.
Key Responsibilities
• Blueberry Operations:
• Monitor health and development of established blueberry plants
• Implement seasonal care tasks including pruning, fertilizing, mulching, and pest control
• Oversee irrigation and drainage systems
• Manage U-pick operations during harvest season (customer service, supervision, signage, etc.)
• Keep detailed records of crop yields, maintenance, and inputs
• Lawn and Garden Maintenance:
• Mow, trim, and maintain lawns and walking paths across the property
• Weed, plant, water, and maintain vegetable and flower gardens
• Operate and maintain landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and tillers
• Keep farm areas clean, tidy, and visually appealing for customers
• Chicken Chores:
• Walk chickens daily
• Clean and maintain chicken barn and surrounding areas
• Monitor flock health and behavior; report illness or injury promptly
• Ensure safe and humane living conditions for all poultry

• *Upcoming Dairy Farm Chores:
• Rake sand stalls
• Feed baby calves
• Monitor milking robot
• Clean and maintain barn and surrounding areas
• Monitor herd and behavior; report illness or injury promptly
• Ensure safe and humane living conditions for all cattle
• (Barn not complete until Nov 2025)



Qualifications
• Previous farm or agricultural experience required (blueberry experience an asset)
• Strong understanding of seasonal plant care and animal husbandry
• Ability to safely operate farm tools and small machinery
• Physically fit and capable of lifting, bending, and working in all weather conditions
• Self-starter with excellent time management and organizational skills
• Comfortable interacting with the public during U-pick operations
• Valid driver's license (tractor or equipment experience a bonus)
