Opie is looking for a new home where he will have some friends to sing with. A few months ago, he lost his cage mate and , in my opinion, is feeling rather down. I cannot commit to adding another budgie at this time and the socializing it would deserve so im making the choice to find a home for Opie that can.
Opie is not hand tame, despite my efforts he never seemed to want that lifestyle and i wasn't going to force him. Birds have different personalities and his is "feed me and leave me alone." His wings are not trimmed at the moment, i felt being on his own, that flying around the house instead of clicking around on the floor might improve his mood.
That being said, Opie is used to being let out for free time and enjoys hanging out in my plants.
Opie will come with a cage, accessories and any seed and treats i have left on hand. I am willing to MEET *not deliver* at my convenience.
