At Sundown Border-Aussies, we're passionate about breeding loyal, intelligent, and energetic companions—perfect for active families and individuals who love life on the move. Whether you're into hiking, biking, agility, trail riding, frisbee, or camping, our pups are ready to keep up with you from sunrise to sundown.

These pups are ¾ Australian Shepherd and ¼ Border Collie—born from working-line parents with good herding instincts. While we don't work livestock ourselves, many of our pups have gone on to thrive as reliable farm partners.

They are super smart, eager to please, and easy to train—making them ideal for a variety of owners. While they need space to run and daily stimulation, they also have a fantastic “off switch” and settle well indoors after a good day's adventure. We breed for sound minds, loyalty, and a balanced temperament—not hyperactivity.

Parents:
• Dad - Niko: Red Tri Merle Australian Shepherd | 21” at shoulder, 50 lbs
• Mom - Willow: Black Tri Border Collie x Australian Shepherd | 19” at shoulder, 40 lbs
Both parents live on our farm near Lamont, AB and can be seen when you visit.

Rehoming:
Puppies will be ready to go the first weekend of June 2025 and will be
• Weaned and eating dry food
• ~90% potty trained
• Vet-checked with health records, deworming, and first vaccinations
• Puppies are expected to mature between 45–60 lbs.

These pups have been raised with care and handled extensively

Adoption Requirements:
To ensure our puppies go to the right homes, we require all potential owners to complete an online adoption application. This helps us confirm our dogs are going to responsible, breed-appropriate homes. These dogs are not suitable for most apartment dwellers and require a fenced yard if living in a residential area as they are high energy and need a safe area to run and play.
