If you are a motivated individual capable for consistent heavy lifting upto 30 lbs then we can help you get a potential job available as a General laborer in Data Communication Management warehouse in Oshawa. To be eligible to work there, you must have your own car/ reliable transportation to commute to L1J 7E2.

NOTE: Currently, we do not have a start date as it's on-call and we're making database from Oshawa or near by region as we are expecting our client to have it's peak season when they would need more candidates for different projects.

Shift Details:
Shift Timings: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
Shift Days: Monday to Friday
Pay Rate : $ 17.20/ hr

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
1) Load & unload product, get product from shelves, open or tape up boxes - typically no more than 30 lb per box.
2) Assemble multiple printed items into a single package or kit for distribution.
3) Prepare paperwork for shipments, allocate and ship all customer orders and transfers, pick orders using pick tickets, stock shelves.
4) Repetitive lifting of 30 lbs boxes, anywhere from floor to shoulder height.
5) Perform pre-assembly duties such as; prepping boxes, stocking assembly area, gathering materials, and organizing work area.
5) Assemble finished products into boxes or containers for shipping in accordance with customer specifications.
6) Count and sort inventory as required.
8) Other general labor duties as required.

Qualifications:
1) Minimum 1 year of experience working in a warehouse doing above listed jobs especially loading, unloading & kitting preferably in a printing company.
2) Comfortable working in physical challenging environment & able to lift heavy materials consistently upto 30 lbs.
3) Must be able to clear a basic criminal background check performed by us.
4) Reliable and willing to work each day and on-call both, Monday to Friday.
5) Ability to read and interpret job specifications and identify the correct parts for fulfilling customer orders.
6) Basic English communication skills (both written and verbal).
7) Basic knowledge of routine packing procedures (knowledge to use of tape gun in a fast & effective manner), techniques, equipment and general warehouse procedures.
8) Attention to detail in assembling standard shipping boxes and packing contents securely, folding documents and cardboard posters.
9) Basic arithmetic to add, subtract, multiply and divide manually, not gadgets (calculator, phone etc.) allowed.
10) Ability to follow proper health and safety standards.
