Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of plumbing systems and be capable of performing a variety of tasks related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems. This role requires mechanical knowledge, the ability to read schematics, and proficiency with power tools. The Journeyperson Plumber will work on various projects, ensuring that all plumbing installations meet local codes and regulations.

Duties

Assemble and install Commercial/Residence plumbing systems, including Rough in pipes, fittings, and fixtures.
Perform maintenance and repairs on existing plumbing systems to ensure optimal functionality.
Weld and solder pipes as needed for various installations.
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
Utilize power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and joining materials.
Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or potential problems.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols.
Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure timely project completion.
Qualifications

Proven experience as a Journeyperson Plumber or in a similar role within the plumbing industry.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively.
Proficiency in using power tools and equipment relevant to plumbing tasks.
Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions accurately.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during installations and repairs.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
A valid plumbing license or certification is preferred but not mandatory.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.25-$49.21 per hour
