We are looking to place a caregiver in NW Calgary who speaks Punjabi. The candidate must drive a vehicle and be available for a morning and afternoon shift.

-- Provide personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
-- Assist with mobility and transfers, including help with walking, positioning, and lifting.
-- Prepare meals and assist with feeding, ensuring dietary needs are met.
-- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing.
-- Administer medication as prescribed and keep accurate records.
-- Engage clients in meaningful activities and companionship.
-- Monitor client's physical and emotional well-being, reporting any concerns to family members or healthcare providers.
-- Provide respite care for family members, giving them time for personal activities or rest.
Qualifications:
-- Previous experience as an in-home caregiver, nursing assistant, or similar role is preferred.
-- Certification in First Aid and CPR is an asset.
-- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
-- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
-- Knowledge of dementia, Alzheimer's, or other chronic conditions is a plus.
-- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
