Hello. My name is AJ. My wife and I have some specific requirements for our next home rental so we thought we'd put this wanted ad out and see if there are are any landlords out there looking for a win-win situation. Sort of a shot in the dark for us here.

My wife and I support her parents and her brother (on disability). We currently rent 2 separate apartments for all 5 of us.

In an ideal world, we'd love to rent a house where each of the 2 groups have their own: bathroom, kitchen/kitchenette and living room. Because we're family and don't mind sharing other common spaces such as entrance and laundry, the house doesn't necessarily have to be a duplex. We don't need total separation but we don't want to share everything either.

As an example, if we could find a house rental that had a basement with a 3-piece bathroom, a kitchenette, a rec room and 2 bedrooms, that would be perfect.

We work remotely and can live anywhere in Ontario. We prefer to stay south of Huntsville, north of Chatham, and west of Ottawa.

For the right deal, we'd be willing to contribute a little bit to install a kitchenette in the basement if it doesn't already have one. Also, if small renos are needed to make this work, we'd be happy to commit to an 18-month lease.

Some extra details:
- We are in our late 30's/early 40s. My in-laws are in their 70s.
- We have 2 adult male cats, both fixed and well-trained.
