The parents are OFA and DNA tested. Both parents are on site. These are super well-bred golden retriever puppies. They are of the field upland game and waterfowl hunting type. Compared to the show golden retriever, the hunting type is smaller (Females around 50 pounds and males around 70 pounds), more athletic, with shorter hair than the show golden, and has a longer life span. The puppy's famous grandfather (FC AFC OTCH TNT'S STANLEY STEAMER UDX) lived to almost 16 years old without any health issues.
We strive to breed healthy, trainable goldens with tons of natural ability, whether for competition dogs (any direction) or wonderful companions for active families.
Our puppies are raised in our home for the first three weeks and then moved into our indoor riding arena and fenced outdoor yard. The puppies' mental and physical health develops naturally and properly when they have lots of room to move around, explore, play with their brothers and sisters, and interact with their parents and our other dogs, like nature intended. Our puppies are bold and confident when allowed to explore diverse terrain in the outdoor fenced area during the day. At night, they sleep in a safe room together in a kennel, so kennel training has already begun. They get lots of handling and have a good recall at a young age.
Our past puppies (full brothers and sisters to this litter) show talent in various directions, such as hunting (Retrieving), Obedience, agility, service dogs, search and rescue, horseback trail riding, hiking, camping partners, etc. A few have even been placed into families with small kids with great success.
The puppies will receive regular worming, their first puppy shots, and a health check from a vet. They will be ready to go around June 7th.
We have several boys and a few girls available.
Boys are $1500, and girls are $1800, with a non-breeding agreement. The price doubles if you want to purchase for breeding purposes.
Our two females will turn 6 years old later this year, and we will retire them from breeding after this litter. So this is the last chance to get a puppy with exceptional breeding for such a great price. We live outside of Princeton, BC, so our prices are lower than if we lived near a big city center. It takes more commitment for people to travel this far to get their puppy. We welcome people to come and visit the puppies and the parents; if the distance is too far, we can also offer video calls. Most puppy pictures are of their full brothers and sisters from a previous litter since they are still too small to get action shots. (one month old at the time of this ad) We will get some good action shots of this litter shortly lol.
