Ebeano Specialty Foods is a visionary company that addresses the concerns of the specialty market in North America starting from Canada. Some of the food materials that end up in landfills in Canada, are in West Africa usually up-cycled for human consumption. These up-cycled food ingredients are imported into Canada by the specialty market, but not widely and readily available.

Here comes Ebeano Specialty Foods, with its refined West-African technique to harness these food wastes from Canadian farms and abattoirs to produce the same quality of food ingredients the specialty market requires.

We are currently in need of a Production Analyst, who will be able to analyze the cultural and quality standards relevant to West African and Carribean food traditions. The Production Analyst will need to be able to oversee and execute the up-cycling process of cow skins, ensuring they meet West African cultural and culinary standards. The Production Analyst will furthermore operate machinery, handle materials safely, and ensure quality control from processing to packaging and shipping. This role is essential to ensuring the quality and authenticity of Ebeano Specialty Foods' up-cycled cow skin products, supporting both sustainability and cultural food traditions.

As a Production Analyst, you need to be able to analyze the cultural and quality standards relevant to West African and Carribean food traditions, and oversee and execute the up-cycling process of cow skins, ensuring they meet West African cultural and culinary standards. A Production Analyst will perform the following job duties within the context of our production:
- Operate multi-function process control machinery to cut, roast, treat, and process cow skins into culturally significant food products
- Monitor gauges and control panels, to maintain processing conditions such as roasting time, temperature, and material consistency
- Ensure proper handling of raw and processed cow skins to meet cultural and quality standards
- Implement quality control measures at each stage of production, from roasting to final packaging
- Maintain production logs and record processing data, including weight, size, and batch numbers
- Set up, operate, and adjust processing equipment to cut, roast, treat, and package cow skins
- Apply specialized West African roasting and treatment techniques to ensure product authenticity
- Inspect products for compliance with company and cultural standards, making necessary adjustments to processing techniques
- Store finished products appropriately and coordinate shipping to ensure timely delivery
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of machines and work areas

This is a full-time position for at least 2 years and at least 30 hours per week (6 vacancies)
Wage: $20.50 to $35 per hour, depending on experience
Benefits: 4 weeks paid annual vacation

Skills/education requirements:
- completion of high school is required
- experience in the food or beverage processing industry is required
- experience as a machine operator in food or beverage processing is required

Please note that without practical knowledge of West African techniques of up-cycling livestock offal it will be very difficult to perform the job duties.

Good English language skills, a resumé and references are required.
A flexible attitude towards working hours, including Saturday, Sunday and evenings/nights, is expected.
