Multi-Task Crew Member – Logistics & Operations Support

Makkinga Contractors is seeking applications for a full-time Multi-Task Crew Member position based in Thunder Bay, Ontario. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a dynamic work environment and are willing to take on a variety of responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Parts Runner: Transport and deliver parts efficiently to various locations.
Gravel Scaling: Accurately measure and record gravel loads.
Travel Flexibility: Ability to work out of town and stay overnight as required.
Janitorial Work: Maintain cleanliness and organization in workspaces.
Shipping & Receiving: Handle incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring proper documentation.
Administrative Duties: Assist with paperwork, data entry, and other office-related tasks.
Safety Compliance: Conduct daily hazard assessments and forklift inspections.
Fueling Heavy Equipment: Ensure heavy machinery and vehicles are properly fueled for operation.
Requirements:

Ability to read and write English proficiently.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Physical capability to perform manual labor tasks.
Forklift operation experience (certification preferred).
Basic computer skills for administrative duties.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Willingness to travel and stay overnight when required.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
