Job Description:
We are looking for a Mechanic to assemble, maintain and repair trucks and equipment. You will be responsible for ensuring functionality and reliability of all equipment. Duties include adjusting equipment to repair or replace defective parts, diagnosing faults or malfunctions and cleaning or performing maintenance work.
You must have great attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy. You must be able to work with various equipment and tools as well as follow all safety precautions and best practices.

Responsibilities:
• Inspect truck and trailers daily – proving all preventative maintenance
• Conduct repairs aiming for maximum reliability
• Troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them in a timely manner
• Working outside
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Provide feedback on correct maintenance and preventative measures
• Keep logs of work and report on issues

Requirements and skills:
• 2 years of experience working in transportation industry
• Clean and maintain equipment and tools
• Ability to self-motivate and work independently
• Exceptional communication skills
• Problem-solving ability
• Good physical strength, ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to follow established procedures and practices
• Valid drivers license required
Additional:
• Mechanical Certification preferred (310T)
• Welding and fabrication experience considered an asset
What we offer:
• $24/hr. -negotiable based on experience
• Full time hours
• Vehicle to be provided on site
