An unmodified and well-cared-for example of Toyota's 3rd Generation A60 Celica GT which has been in BC from new. We even have the Toyota “We Care” customer card with the Celica's Vehicle Identification Number and the owner having a West Vancouver address. The Celica was sold in 2020 to an automotive dealer as an estate sale and then purchased in 2021 by the second “driving” owner with 69,000 kms on the odometer and undertook cosmetic (new paint) and mechanical reconditioning.
The Celica was featured in 2022 as part of the “Survivor Series” by Youtuber Motormouth and featured by ICBC in their Autoplan communications.

The interior is original and in excellent condition. The electronics all work including the original stereo cassette player and equalizer.
The Celica GT is powered by a 2.4-litre 22R-E inline-four-cylinder engine rated at 116 horsepower and 140 lb-ft of torque which, combined with the five-speed manual transmission and RWD makes for spirited drives on twisty backroads. The GT rides on 14” split spoke alloy wheels found on the GTS and Supra models with BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires (date code 52/19).
The GT came equipped with power steering, power-assisted front brakes, pop-up headlights, sunroof, power mirrors, power door locks, air conditioning, cruise control, stereo with cassette player and graphic equalizer, and body-coloured fender flares.
The ICBC Claims History shows the following:
15-Aug-2006 Front Center – No details
28-Apr-1999 Repairs - $1,618.11 - likely the passenger side door.
03-Mar- 1989 Repairs - $321.97
In preparation for sale, we repaired the underside of the passenger side door to remove some rust on the edge. During the repairs it was noted that the door was a replacement door, possibly from an earlier repair.
We have the service history from 2019 which includes new:
Brake slave cylinder
Steering steering stops, water pump, heater hoses and rear differential seal
Tires
Rear shocks and front struts
Cold start injection switch, motor mounts, muffler, and oxygen sensor
Rear control arm bushings, and
Clutch and Flywheel
You couldn't build a Celica this nice without spending an insane amount of money. It is a unicorn for anyone looking for an unmodified Mid-80's Japanese sports car.
We are open Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm if you want to stop by or call 250-590-0900 (ext 3) for more information or make an appointment for a test drive.
