Steel Studz is a family owned business based out of Calgary.

We have 42 years experience in:
layout, blueprints, steel studs, framing, hard ceilings, bulkheads, shaft liners, shaft chases, suspended bulkheads, installing steel door frames, insulation, poly, drywall, t-bar, tiles.

We have completed numerous jobs in Calgary and out of town.

In Calgary we worked on numerous jobs schools, car dealerships , cineplexs new builds, downtown towers


Here are a few of the out of Town jobs:

Whitehorse for West Coast PCL, the whitehorse hospital and whistlebend nursing home.

Our crew including myself did 26 days straight and 5 off for eight months straight in yukon framing, drywall, t bar, tiles and taping for pcl.

We also had the opportunity to build an operations building on the wharf for LNG in Kitimat BC ground up exterior steel and interior including all backing, insulation, drywall and t-bar.

We have most recently worked on RCMP building in Fort St John BC framing, drywall, shaft lines, mesh and insulation.

We also do the cineplexes completed so far in Calgary, Ottawa and Winnipeg. We go in after demolition and convert to new lounger seating VIP. We do all the structural steel framing for all the flooring 18 gauge steel and have steel inpection and then all the Q decking and plywood floors and build all the stairs, framing and voluntary wall, boarding and taping. Cineplexes have a very fast turn over so we worked 95 days straight 10 hrs days to meet opening deadlines.

My crew and I are very experienced in out of town work, we are reliable and take pride in our work.

We have experience in trade & tool box meetings, hazard safety reports.

We have all tools for our trade.
