Here's why you should buy this SUV:
I have the type of ADHD where I LOVE to customize my vehicles. I hyperfocus on a vehicle, and how I'll build it, for about a year, then I'll start looking for one, find one I can't live without, and I'll suddenly decide to buy it,
Then I'll make my bank and my insurance company and my tire/rim guy ALL rush because I've made it happen so fast...
Then I'll spend the next year building it. After that I'll enjoy it tremendously for about 9 months. Then, somewhere late in that 2nd year, the dream-car-dopamine hits start to drop off, and I get bored of it.
THAT is when I start thinking about the next car, A-LOT, then, just as I'm doing right now, I quickly sell my current dream rig to make the deal happen on the next dream rig. I then proceed to lose a bunch money. Again.
So, as you can imagine, this particular QX80 is super sick. It's the mid-range Luxe model. The Platinum has nothing I wanted or needed and I knew I would be making it into a way nicer vehicle anyway.
- Nothing is broken.
- Well maintained proactively
- It's in excellent shape.
- Under 65,000kms.
- Bumper to bumper transferable warranty goes till 100,000kms.
26" Giovanni Wheels wrapped in some ridiculously expensive rubber that I suggest you shop for next time. Wheels were $11K. Tires were $3k.
22" stock rims with brand new studded winters making this entire rig more rugged than the abominable snowman in a winter blizzard. Another $2,500 JUST for the tires.
Roof rack delete. All that means is we took it off, kept all the hardware, and covered the holes with white 3M tape. $500 in labour.
Which reminds me I spent $2,500 to have the whole front wrapped in 3M protective film, then figured why not also tint the fronts for another $500.
Liking that look I then proceeded to have every.single piece of chrome wrapped in black protective 3M film. That was $1,500.
I even tinted the tail lights (safely) and got them to put a really cool smoked 3M film on the surrounds of the front headlights.
Once I get around to cleaning the inside so it looks brand new for you, you'll notice I've got 5,000 watts of stereo pounding out through 2 65 pound 18" DD Audio competition subs that rip at 155db.
For the uninitiated, that's very likely the loudest car stereo in your city. The system and install ran just shy of $11K. It's not included in the advertised price, but it could be yours if you add $8,000. That alone is an insane deal. You can't imagine how much time it took to get that stereo sorted and tuned properly.
...I know, I know. Trust me. I know how ridiculous it is to make your 7 seater vehicle functionally a 4 seater just so you can fill your trunk (and your city) with arythmia-inducing bass. ESPECIALLY since I'm an adult, a professional, a Dad, and husband! What can I say?!
Anyway. Buy my QX80 would ya! lol
