Job Title: Butcher (Fluency in Polish, Ukrainian, or Slovak)
Located in Mississauga, ON
Pay: $25-$35 per hour (Based on Skills and Experience)

Key Responsibilities:

- Precisely and efficiently cut, trim, and debone pork and other meat carcasses into various cuts (e.g., chops, ribs, roasts, sausages) based on customer orders or store requirements.
- Ensure all meat products meet the highest quality standards, with attention to texture, fat content, and cleanliness.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of meat cuts and their purposes, providing advice to customers regarding preparation methods and cooking suggestions.
- Assist in managing inventory of meat products, ensuring stock levels are maintained, and rotating products to minimize waste.
- Provide exceptional customer service by fulfilling custom orders, offering cooking advice, and answering customer inquiries regarding pork cuts and preparations.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all hygiene, safety, and health guidelines for meat handling.
- Operate and maintain butchery tools and equipment, ensuring they are kept in good working condition.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations concerning meat handling and food safety standards.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a butcher, preferably specializing in pork cuts.
- Fluency in one of the languages: Polish, Ukrainian, or Slovak.
- Strong knife skills and proficiency with butchery tools and equipment. Ability to cut, trim, and prepare various pork cuts with precision.
- Solid understanding of meat quality standards, cutting techniques, and pork products.
- Ability to lift and handle heavy cuts of meat and work for extended periods.
- Ability to work in cold environments (e.g., walk-in coolers or freezer rooms).
- Excellent communication skills with a customer-first attitude.
- Familiarity with meat handling procedures and knowledge of food safety.
