They are rough and heavy wood members that were used to construct the exterior load bearing walls of our 1950s house ("Piece sur piece" or "Quebec frame").
The wood quantities are as follows:
- 3 units @ 2" x 10" x 10',
- 12 units @ 2" x 8" x 10', and
- 5 units @ 2" x 6" x 10'.
