Layla's story began on the streets of Mexico as a stray puppy … malnourished, skinny and totally alone.

Thankfully she found refuge at a local dog shelter but life has not been easy for this sweet soul. Now two years of age, spayed and up-to-date on all vaccinations, Layla developed an eye condition while still quite young and needed both a correct diagnosis and appropriate treatment.

Unfortunately there were few veterinarian specialists qualified to help Layla in Mexico so we believed the best option was to bring her to Canada. Mission accomplished.

Layla arrived in Toronto on January 28th and was welcomed by a loving, attentive foster family.

Layla is a sheer joy to be around. Affectionate, trusting, great on the leash and thrilled to play tag with her foster canine companions, this girl will truly steal your heart.
