James H. Lamb Farms is looking for full time and part time employees to join our team.


James H. Lamb Farms is a 3rd generation family owned and operated dairy farm in
Somerset, NS. We milk 340 Holstein cows in a double 20 parallel parlour 2 times/day
(4:00AM-9:00AM and 3:00PM-7:00PM).


Duties include, but are not limited too:
Milking
Working with calves and young stock
Feeding
Monitoring health of animals
Tractor/skid steer work
General cleaning and maintenance of facility


Full time hours range between 40-50hrs/week. Part time hours can be discussed. High school students who are willing to work evenings and weekends are welcome to apply.


Applicants with experience are preferred – that being said, we are willing to train the
right applicant that shows up with a good attitude and motivation to learn. Must be able to work independently and within a team. Applicant must have reliable transportation to and from work.
