Requirements
* Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with clean driving record.
* Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably with steel or heavy loads, 3 years minimum.
* Knowledge of transportation and safety regulations.
* Ability to operate both manual and automatic trucks.
* Ability to use chain securement with ratchets on a slider flatbed or willingness to learn as training will be provided for the right candidate.
* Strong English communication and interpersonal skills.
* Physical stamina and strength to handle loading and unloading materials.
* Familiarity with GPS and navigation tools.

We are seeking a dedicated Steel Truck Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting steel products across various locations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery while adhering to safety regulations and company policies.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, excellent driving skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
You will operate heavy spec'd vehicles and navigate various terrains, work conditions (rain, mud, snow, cold (winter), hot (summer) while maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance. Additionally, your role will involve physical stringent securement with chains and ratchets, conducting vehicle inspections, and maintaining accurate logbooks.

Pay will can range from 1500 - 2000 per week.
Shifts will be 12 hours.

Responsibilities
* Transport steel products to various locations in a safe and timely manner.
* Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance daily (on in cab ELD after visual checks).
* Maintain accurate (ELD) logbooks and delivery documentation according to regulations and our standards.
* Load and unload steel products using appropriate equipment and techniques.
* Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle.
* Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery schedules and any (all) issues.
* Ensure the vehicle is maintained and report any mechanical issues to the owner as soon as possible.
