Summer Contract Position – Golf Course Operations (Subcontractor)

Location: Various golf courses in and around Edmonton, AB

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Golf Course Operations Assistant to join our team for the summer season. This is a subcontractor position involving contract work at various golf courses throughout Edmonton and occasionally out of town. It's an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working outdoors and are looking for meaningful summer employment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate golf carts and light machinery as required
- Assist with equipment handling and on-site operational tasks
- Perform manual tasks in an outdoor environment
- Maintain a professional and safe working environment
- Communicate effectively with team members and site contacts
- Adapt to changing schedules and job site requirements

Requirements:
- Valid Class 5 driver's license and a vehicle.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Dependable, self-motivated, and proactive
- Flexible schedule — daily start times may vary

-Willingness to work out of town occasionally (overnight stays may be required)
-Strong communication and teamwork skills

Schedule:
- Typical hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Monday - Friday
- Schedule may vary based on location and scope of work

Additional Information:
- Competitive hourly rate
- Subcontractor status (you will be responsible for your own taxes and deductions)
- Travel within and occasionally outside the Edmonton area (transportation or reimbursement provided as
needed)
- On-site training provided for all equipment
