Monday- Friday 7am-5pm
Must have own vehicle

Job Description (walk me through a day in the life):
Tomatoes:
● Support setup, cleanup, and basic care
● Report pests or diseases to supervisor
● Remove old plants and help with seasonal changes
● Assist with planting, applying clips, and guiding growth
● Harvest ripe tomatoes and remove leaves as needed
● Light weed control and workspace upkeep
● Push/pull trays, bending, no heavy lifting
Cucumbers:
● Check for ripe, firm cucumbers with even color
● Twist or cut from the vine using the picking card
● Remove damaged cucumbers without harming the plant
● Push/pull trays, bending, no heavy lifting
Peppers:
● Pick mature peppers with the desired color and firmness
● Cut from the plant with scissors, leave small stem
● Push/pull trays, bending, no heavy lifting

Describe the Work Environment.
● Bins on tracks, pushed and pulled on wheels
● Very hot year-round due to greenhouse conditions
● Standing for long periods of time
● Breathable clothing recommended for comfort

●1–2 years of hands-on experience in a greenhouse or similar
agricultural setting
● Comfortable working in hot and humid environments for extended
periods
● Physically capable of lifting items over 50 lbs on a regular basis
● Able to perform repetitive physical tasks, including twisting, turning,
and bending
● Must have reliable personal transportation (no public transit access)
Able to follow verbal instructions and read basic written
communication in English
