What you see in the pics is a Schwinn Gateway with a strong alloy steel frame.
It even has a factory rat-trap style rear rack.
The frame size is 21 inches (53 cm) and is considered to be a MEDIUM size.
It's suitable for someone 5'8" (~170 cm) to 6' (~180 cm).

This bike rides, shifts and brakes very well. It really needs nothing but you to ride it. Here's what I've done to bring this great cruiser bike back to proper riding condition:

Installed a very good used front tire because the original had some cracks (see pic) Cleaned and lubed the crank bearings
Cleaned and lubed the wheel bearings front and rear
Cleaned and lubed the rear freehub and cassette
Cleaned and polished the spokes
Cleaned and lubed the drive chain (it measures only 50% worn so is good for
the summer......unless you ride 100 kilometres per day 7 days a week LOL).
Trued the wheels front and rear
Properly adjusted the vee brake calipers front and rear
Dismantled, cleaned and relubed the pedals
Cleaned the original saddle and gave it a shine with some vinyl polish
Gave everything else a thorough cleaning and polishing
Yes, there are a few scratches in the paint and the odd speck of rust but they are not really noticeable with the dark brown metallic paint.

This bike is equipped with a Shimano indexed rear derailleur with a SRAM GripShift rotary clicker shifter. The wheels have one-piece medium-flange aluminum alloy hubs. The front wheel is the quick-release type as you can see in the pics. The wheels are 700C type (ISO622) with lightweight aluminum rims.
Original crank set is Schwinn chrome plated one piece forged steel w/165 mm crank arms and chrome chainwheel.

My asking price of $149 is firm-ish but I will consider serious offers.
Compare at $500 currently at Canadian Tire and Walmart for similar bikes.
