About the Role

We're looking for a reliable, observant, and livestock-savvy individual to join our feedlot team as a
Pen Checker. You'll be the eyes and ears on the ground—monitoring animal health, spotting early
signs of illness, and helping ensure top-notch animal care and welfare.
Whether you're experienced in cattle handling or just have a strong work ethic and a good eye for
livestock, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

Ride or drive pens daily to monitor cattle health and behavior
Identify and pull sick or injured animals for treatment
Record health data accurately and follow treatment protocols
Work closely with our vet and processing team
Assist with pen moves, processing, or other cattle work as needed

What We're Looking For

Livestock handling experience is a strong asset
Keen attention to detail and strong animal observation skills
Able to work outdoors in all conditions
Team player with a good attitude
Horse experience is a plus but not required
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
