My beautiful, loving and nurturing dayhome in S.E. community of Auburn Bay has a space opening very soon P/T in my over 30 yrs experienced dayhome. My infant, toddler and young preschooler aged dayhome is looking for the right family to come and socialize and be apart of our dayhome family.

~excellent references of my past 30 yrs of families I have cared for
~non smoking home, inside and out, we are completely smoke free of any substance,
non smokers.

~reliability & dependability you can count on
~clean and organized
~child proofed home for them to play safely and comfortably, for example:
`proper baby gates
`fire extinguisher on every level of house
`carbon monoxide detector
`all cabinets child locked
`any and all medications locked & out of reach of children
`backyard fully fenced...just to name a few
~a structured & professional dayhome
~children never driven in any vehicles, we go for walks in the community & wagon rides
~NO visitors while I am working, not even my family, I take my job very seriously
~good old plain common sense
I WILL OFFER YOUR LITTLE ONE AS THEY GROW:
~crafts and painting
~baking every week
~playdough, puzzles, creative toys, crafts they can eat at times, learning through play
~story time everyday
~music, dance and fun exercise everyday.... walks, stretches, whatever they enjoy.
~food they love, following the Canada's Guide to Healthy eating
~naptime in their own cribs
~indoor & outdoor play ... water & sand play
~walks, wagon rides, playgrounds... weather permitting & reasonable
~educational toys, toys and more toys
~reassurance, affirmation and love by me, the same caregiver everyday
~hugs and kisses every. single. day :)
*I am accepting from the age of 6 months and up to no older then 5 yrs of age when they are ready to start kindergarten (depending on circumstances and child of course)
*I am looking for the right family that after mat leave must go back to work (but do not want to leave their baby in a cold, gov't type setting) or a family that just wants their little one to have some socializing one, two or three days a week...or maybe mom or dad just needs some time to recharge and rest, so they can be the best parent to their little one, whatever you need, I am here to help P/T....a family that is truly looking for that special someone who can offer a clean, quiet, calm home full of love and warmth, who truly gets to know your little one as an individual, not a center where it is all about rules, numbers and filling spaces...but rather a person who truly does this job out of love for children, not a second class job that was forced on them to do because they have to work.
*I offer clean noses, cuddles, hearing each child's individual needs, thoughts and expressions, baking banana bread, the real "mommy type" care.
*I offer proper cribs for naptime each day or even overnight care if needed, this way each child gets a good and proper sleep to help in their growth. Which leads me to what I do not offer...
-I do not offer unfortunately care for older school aged children. I love all children but I firmly believe in babies getting their proper naps each day and not being woken to go pick up other children from school. I am a different dayhome that specializes in babies, young toddlers, & pre school aged, until they are ready for school themselves. I believe you can't do both jobs properly, so unfortunately no drop off's or pick up's from school.
*Hours are typically from 7am-5pm, but can be flexible... I have worked for many families over the years who are nurses, doctors, shift workers, police officers etc, so the longer 12 hr shifts have been needed. Its more about the right family more than anything else for me.
*Days I work are typically every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday each week, but can be available Fridays and other days if I know ahead of time.... even weekends....
*I am a private dayhome and have been my whole time in the childcare industry. I have run a smooth, professional dayhome and a woman that truly loves her job. As you can see, I have all the checks and screenings that any agency asks for, this is a NECESSITY and should be provided, I understand that. I believe that is important, but I also believe that you and I should decide the type of individualized care your little one needs and deserves. This is why I have stayed private. This is what makes me unique and so busy, as I truly have your best interests at heart.... your child! Their safety, their feelings, their ever changing needs addressed. Some shy away because I don't offer the funding, but do not let that scare you away. My pricing is fair and has always been based on a family's income and what they can afford. I have never charged high daycare prices and have always been fair, reasonable and flexible. Individualized for you and your budget. Just speak with me. You should not be paying out much more than you would even with funding. This is your child, so don't settle, but this also means you shouldn't have to chose 1 over the other. Let's chat!
*I have chosen this hard at times, but very rewarding job as my career many years ago because I love children, not because I want to stay home with my own child and still make income, there is a huge difference, come and see for yourself.
*I know this is the hardest decision you will ever make in regards to who will care for your little one, will they be loved.... but with my many years of experience, I will help make transition easier than you ever thought possible for both of you.
*Upon meeting I will have an information pkg for you to help explain who I am, what my dayhome is all about and what you can expect. I will help answer any questions and help in your normal worries and concerns.
*Come and meet me, let's discuss the hard stuff, see my home, and where your little one will play, sleep etc.
*I too am very picky who comes into my home, so let's see if we are right for each other.
*Do not let being private worry you or stop the process.... come, meet me, chat with families I have and still care for... my years of experience will show this, I am not like everyone else.
