Job Overview
:
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various painting techniques and be capable of working on both interior and exterior residential and commercial projects. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. The Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring that all projects meet the required specifications.

Painter's must have a minimum of 3 years experience with brush, roller and spray gun applications.

Responsibilities:
- Set-up and tear down of job related materials, such as poly, drop sheets, ladders, scaffolding, as required to accommodate the work space.
- Prep paint surfaces for painting, such as pressure washing, removing old paint, filling nail holes, cracks, and joints with caulking, sanding and minor patching drywall as necessary.
- Apply paint, stain, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment, to walls, ceilings, trim, exterior siding, metal, post and beams etc.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand project requirements.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project progress and any issues that arise.
- Manage time efficiently to meet project deadlines.

Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years proven experience in interior residential painting.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, along with regular cleaning and maintenance of work tools, equipment and machines.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
- Candidates should possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional results in every project undertaken.
- Familiarity with drywall installation and repair techniques is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation is a must.
- Working at Heights certification and Lift certification is preferred.


Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $28 - $38 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 45 per week
Schedule: Monday to Friday. Weekends and evenings as needed
Locations: Collingwood, Blue Mountains, Meaford area
