Job Description – Maintenance Technician (Food Industry)

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician with proven experience in the food industry to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge in maintaining industrial machinery and equipment used in food production processes.

Responsibilities:

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment.

Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic issues.

Ensure all equipment complies with food safety and quality standards.

Collaborate with the production team to minimize downtime.

Keep detailed records of repairs and maintenance activities.

Requirements:

Previous experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in the food industry.

Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.

Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.

Availability for rotating shifts and weekend work as needed.

Must live in Guelph, ON or be willing to relocate.
