Qualifications:
• Interprovincial Red Seal Journeyman Ironworker certification
• Valid Fall Protection certification
• Valid Aerial Work Platform certification
• Minimum 3 years experience erecting steel structures
• Fluency in English required, oral and written

Additional preferred training: First Aid training, WHMIS, CWB Welding and Class 1 ticket would be an asset.

Daily tasks will include but are not limited to:
• Erecting structural steel at various job sites primarily focused around central Alberta and be willing to travel when necessary.
• Reading blueprints, and following job specification drawings
• Installing miscellaneous steel as required
• Adhering to safe work practices and regulations
• Working at heights and outdoors all year round, over 8-hour shifts
• Supporting training and development of 1st year apprentices
• Maintaining a tidy work environment
