Looking to rehome my almost 4 year old male Border-Doodle named Ryder. He is a brilliant dog. And he was neutered when he turned a year.

My ex and I got him as a puppy and broke up over a year ago. I've tried having him for the last year but I travel a lot with my job and work sometimes long days. I feel increasingly like another family with more support could better meet his needs.

He is a beautiful boy, very kind and well trained and happy.

He turns 4 July 12th and is a bit over 70 pounds. A Border Collie and Poodle cross, so he has lots of energy and is pretty smart. Non shedding.

He loves swimming, running and playing with other dogs. He grew up with a 15 year old yorkie so he is also great with smaller dogs.

Obsessed with playing fetch and soccer.

He is not so good with cats (chases them when they run) as he was never around them, but I'm sure with exposure he will be fine.

He is good with small farm animals but takes a bit longer to get used to cows and horses.

He has spent a LOT of time in the forest - a great trail dog (running, hiking and mountain biking). He is a brilliant crag dog as we climbed a lot with him.

He plays well with children but hasn't had that much exposure, just out and about we run into them sometimes.

He is also comfortable in a canoe as we have taken him portaging.

Knows how to take your socks off on command.

Can bark in the yard a bit.

He would be best suited to people leading an active lifestyle or on a farm. A dream would be a family that already has another dog for him to play with.
