As for the rates/packages and how things work: most good trainers are $150 per hour and $100 for 30 minutes. But I'm half that at $75 per hour and $50 for 30 minutes. While that's the a la carte rate, I have a few packages for owners that help them get started and maintain good improvements.

Package #1 is a thorough first session that usually runs 2 hours and is generally for all dogs. $170. This is recommended for general behavioural issues: barking, pulling on leash, various aggression/bossy behaviour… usually for juveniles and adults.

Package #2 is the first session plus two follow-up sessions of one hour each (or a total of four hours) and that is recommended for puppies and for bossy/stubborn dogs. $295... Regular price $400.

Package #3 is similar but with four follow-up hours (total six hours) and recommended for stubborn puppies/aggressive/dominant dogs. For stubborn puppies it allows regular progress and help with my clients as the puppy grows/matures. $475… Regular price $600

"We have a 6 year old Australian shepherd mix that has extreme leash aggression towards other dogs (to the point that we don't enjoy walking her) and we have a 12 month husky shepherd cross that is so strong he literally pulls, flips out, chews and barks non stop and everything and everyone around!
