Health Care Aides Summary of Duties:
- Personal assistance and support services for clients with brain injury, complex mental and medical health diagnoses and responsive behaviors
- Provide basic health services for clients who have cognitive and functional limitations
- Provide physical and emotional support to clients in the community and in the care facility
- Provides direct care, personal assistance and support to the elderly and mildly physically disabled
- Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, dressing, meal preparation, minor housekeeping and toileting.
- Assistance at doctor's and specialists' appointments
- DARP Charting

Only Candidates with the following qualifications need apply
• Health Care Aide Certificate
• Current First Aid and CPR (AED Certification)
• Medication Administration Certificate
• Current Police and Vulnerable Sector Check
• Current N5 Fit Test
• Proof of Covid-19 Double Immunization
• Tuberculosis Screening Record
• WHMIS Certificate
• Safe Food Handling Certificate (from AHS Website)
