La base est neuve et encore dans sa boîte de livraison. L'autre base a eu un problème de moteur et était encore sous la garantie. J'ai reçu la nouvelle base il y a deux ou trois semaines SkyWather. Facile à monter sans outils spécialisés.

La jupe Astrozap n'a sortie qu'une fois.

Je donne aussi un Collimateur avec le télescope.

À considérer pour ceux ou celles qui prévoit acheter un nouveau télescope: avec les taxes 125% de la Chine au USA et avec les taxes 120% de USA au Canada, les nouveaux risques d'être plus coûteux. J'ai eu l'information que certaines compagnies se sont mis sur pauses et attendent que cette histoire de taxes se règle.

J'ai bientôt 73 ans et il est trop lourd pour moi. J'ai un camion Ford Transit Connect. Je peux le livrer dans un rayon raisonnable de kilomètres pour un frais que l'on peut s'entendre. Pour le mettre dans le camion, j'ai un ami mais il faudra avoir de l'aide à l'arrivée chez vous.

Sky-Watcher Flextube 400P SynScan UGC SW-S11840. This telescope was purchased new from David Astro. I used it for about ten nights; it was never exposed to the rain or winter cold. The rest of the time, it was in my condo.

The Moonlite focuser was professionally installed. I contacted the company to purchase the adapter for a 16" mount. This Moonlite was on my 12" mount.

The base is new and still in its original box. The other base had a motor problem and was still under warranty. I received the new base two or three weeks ago from SkyWather. Easy to install without specialized tools.

The Astrozap skirt only came off once.

I'm also giving away a collimator with the telescope.

Something to consider for those planning to buy a new telescope: with the 125% tariffs from China to the US and the 120% tariffs from the US to Canada, the new ones are likely to be more expensive. I've heard that some companies have put their orders on hold and are waiting for this tax issue to be resolved.
