I am selling my beloved 5 speed manual Toyota Matrix XR.

The Matrix is an absolute workhorse based on the Corolla platform with legendary longevity, reliability and ease of maintenance. I had a 2006 for 13 years and sold because we didn't have space for 2 cars at the time - a total regret to the degree that I confidently bought this one a few years ago and didn't look back. Last fall, I made the decision to order a Corolla Cross which has finally arrived; but I am seriously saddened to bid farewell to my beloved Matrix...

What makes this car so awesome?
- Reliable, easy to maintain
- Comfortable and fun to drive
- Unmatchable cargo capacity in its class with no trunk lip, hard plastic fold flat seats (including front passenger), plenty of little cubby holes
- You can sleep in the back for road trips, get a water heater in/out all by yourself.
- Did I mention it is FUN to drive?

I am the second owner of this car and have used it mostly as the spare car and for moving things around for home renos. In the last year or two, I have done the following repairs:
- New All Season Tires (just 3000kms on them)
- New front disk brakes (just 2000kms)
- New starter last year
- New rack and pinion for power steering installed by my trusted mechanic (who told me NOT to sell!)

Did I mention how sad I am to be giving this car up? But I at ease knowing the right person will come along to take good care during its next life chapter.
