I also have a package of thermal paper to go with it. I used it when travelling. I found that it was good for printing out ads and reminders, directions, etc. but was not good for something you wanted to archive for which an ink jet is superior. But it allowed me to print in remote locations where it was a life saver. I no longer need it. It automatically connects to Windows like an external drive.
