Trace is 9 months old and a very good boy. He is half chocolate Lab and half Catahoula leopard dog.

He is crate trained, fully house trained, knows basic commands and is good on a leash. He waits nicely for the okay to eat his meal, does great traveling in the car, is good with being handled, having his nails clipped, checking his teeth and ears etc.
He has his first shots and been vet checked.
Trace is good with cats and other dogs as well as people although may be a bit shy in new situations until he gets comfortable, which usually doesnt take too long.
He is very eager to please, trainable and takes direction well.
He needs a little more work with not being overstimulated while out in town for a walk (I live in the woods and don't get to town much) but we are working on this and I am pretty confident it won't take much for him to become used to it.

Trace is a velcro type dog and loves to snuggle and be close to his human.
He would not enjoy being left in a crate all day while his people are at work and may cry and fuss if left alone for long times so someone who does not work long hours would be ideal.
I will be picky about where he goes as this little guy means a lot to me but I have been fostering him for a while now and have 2 other dogs and he needs to find his forever home.
I can also offer a week long trial period to see if he is a good fit for your life without having to fully commit. If he is not a good fit I will take him back no questions asked.

He is currently still intact as it's better for their development to wait until at least a year before neutering if at all. He is about 45-50lbs right now and I expect he will mature at around 60-65lbs ish.
