One bedroom for rent in a nice brick building on the corner of Nelson & Bute (called "The Berkeley"). Extremely spacious & wheelchair accessible. Walking distance to all necessities, such as grocery stores, drug stores, and bus/train stations (all are 15min or less away). There's also a dog park a block away, with the entire neighborhood being dog-friendly.

Utilities include hydro/heat and Wi-Fi. I am currently in the process of refurnishing the unit, now that my previous roommate is fully moved out (I'll be buying a new couch & TV, among other things, throughout this month).

Unit will be shared only with myself: male in early 30's. I am a full-time worker with stable income. I tend to be a quiet and reserved roommate -- I don't smoke or do drugs/cannabis, and I don't do parties.
I make a constant effort to keep the unit clean and maintained, always cleaning up after myself and staying on top of things like dishes.
I tend to prefer roommates closer to my age, though this by no means a deal-breaker, and I have no preference for male or female roommates (not in college anymore, come on).

Besides rent, there will be a damage deposit & half-rent, totalling to $1339 (one month's total rent). Internet & Hydro usually bring the total up to ~$1400/month, though will probably be closer to ~$1380 in summer, as we'll naturally be using heating a lot less.
