We are seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook specializing in Indian cuisine to join our kitchen team. The Line Cook will assist the chef in the kitchen and perform duties assigned to them while adhering to the restaurant's standards.
Experience Required: 2-5 years in Indian cuisine Responsibilities of Line cook:
1.Prepare and cook a variety of Indian dishes, including curries, tandoori items, biryanis, following established recipes.
2.Assist the chef with prep work such as chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and preparing spice blends. 3.Perform other kitchen duties as assigned by the chef.
4.Operate and maintain kitchen equipment, including tandoor ovens, grills, and fryers.
5.Maintain a clean and organized workstation in compliance with health and safety standards.
6.Ensure food quality, presentation, and portion control meet restaurant standards.
7.Collaborate with the kitchen team to handle high-volume orders efficiently.
8.Follow food handling and sanitation procedures. Be punctual, sincere, and dedicated to maintaining high-quality work. Work effectively as part of a team, contributing to a positive and productive kitchen environment.
