Class A Licensed Pit. Snow Road Ontario. This pit has a licensed area of 51.1 ha with an extraction area of 43.3 ha and annual limit of 500,000 tonnes. 2024 Geological Evaluation and the samples analyzed are composed mainly of sand, with variable percentages of gravel, silt and clay. Gravel deposits are also present and distributed throughout the sedimentary deposit in the form of sandy gravel and gravel and sand. Based on the results the sandy material meets the standards of one or more of the following uses in-situ: Granular B1, SSM, Winter sand, and Abrasive Concrete sand (CSA and OPSS) and ELJEN sand along with Filter medium, The estimated aggregate available is -3,130,000 tonnes.
