Hey potential roommate, up for rent is pretty much your own basement which features a large bedroom with your own washroom plus living room space in a house that is minutes away from Brentwood Station and the University of Calgary. The room is unfurnished - the living room space has some pieces of furniture that can be moved around and easily removed and the washroom has a shower and toilet. You actually get a lot of space to work with. There is no kitchen downstairs but there is a full sized fridge. You can either set up a kitchenette (as the previous roommate did) or use the kitchen upstairs. The basement is also pet friendly and it is quite important that you Love dogs as there is a large dog in the house that is very friendly. Rent is $1000 which includes all utilities including high-speed Wifi and parking out front.

The main floor is shared by 2 guys and 1 girl. We are all in grad school at the University of Calgary and hopefully you would be in a similar situation.

Everyone upstairs is quite friendly and we all get along, but what's nice about the basement suite is you get pretty much complete privacy. (the only time we are down there is to do laundry) But you also get the option of using the shared space of the kitchen and living room.
