This laptop has been corebooted and repasted. The Intel ME has the kill-switch enabled and the HAP/AltMeDisable bit set, but it could not be fully removed from the firmware. The motherboard has been flashed with Coreboot (seabios vgabios & me cleaner) and the Intel wifi card has been replaced with the Atheros AR9462 wifi card. This wifi card uses the ath9k driver which has no binary blobs what-so-ever. I also added 8GB of Samsung RAM. You can increase the storage capacity by adding an MSATA solid state drive. This laptop has the Core i5-2520M which is very efficient when it comes to battery consumption. I've installed Trisquel Linux and can give you the password once you purchase it if you'd like to continue using it. 90W charger included. The 9-cell battery is new but not genuine. It is important to note that this laptop is prone to randomly turning off at least once a week. The situation improved after replacing the RAM, however, the issue still persisted. I've not been able to figure out what is causing this hardware failure, which is why I've significantly lowered the selling price. It certainly has nothing to do with coreboot as I've flashed many ThinkPads in the past with no issues at all.

I've also included an ultrabase docking station with a hard drive caddy.
