Posting for the owner of the property who is the live in landlord. Looking for mature adults only. Looking for someone working or in school. Mostly male dominant home so would prefer another male. Furnished bedroom for month to month rental. Bedroom comes furnished with double size bed, big dresser with mirror attached, two bedside tables, lamp, tabletop fan, closet with organizer inside, and brand new smart TV. Room is located on the upper floor along with other bedrooms and shared full bathroom. Main floor has another shared half bathroom aswell as shared kitchen / dining room that comes with fridge, stove, deep freeze, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and dishwasher. Lastly the basement is where the laundry area is with both washer and dryer aswell as an extra fridge for more storage if need be. There is a driveway with off street parking for 2 and the landlord is the only one with a vehicle so there is an extra spot if you have a vehicle. There is no smoking of any kind in the bedroom or the house but you may smoke outside the house where others go and use the butt buckets provided to contain cigarette butts. Landlord does not smoke but does occasionally have tenants that smoke cigarettes or cannabis which you can do either aslong as its outside. Pets are not aloud but must not be allergic to cats because the landlord does own one. Cable, Internet, home phone and Netflix are all included but must buy your own groceries. Rent is $600 a month due at the beginning of every month (if you need to pay rent in 2 installments and pay half on the 1st and half on the 16th we may be able to arrange that but all on the 1st is preferred) aswell as a $400 damage deposit before moving in. House is close to a ton of different things. Close to multiple different bus routes, gas station right across the street, public library next door, multiple restaurants, dollarama, pharmacy, Bowring Park and more. Aswell as just up the street there is more restaurants, Lawtons, Sobeys, Shoppers, and the Village Mall.
