This item is a German WW 11 Red Cross medical leaders dagger and comes with the original scabbard. These daggers never had the makers mark etched on the blade.... This group of individuals, classified as part of the Wehrmacht support forces. .Worn by medical doctors, but also by medics (EMS) and Red Cross providers. Worn during the many Parades held through out the country.....This item is very clean and is in excellent condition as to no chips on the handle or any form of tarnish on the blade or scabbard. The handle to the blade is a tiny fraction loose. One needs the special tool to tighten the top of the pommel….Therefore it is not a series problem All symbols that relate to the Nazi regime have been covered for courtesy reasons, but it does not take away the history for collectors. ...
