The 1834 USA 50¢ coin, also known as the Capped Bust Half Dollar, features Liberty wearing a cap inscribed with “LIBERTY” on the obverse, surrounded by 13 stars and the date below. The reverse displays an eagle with a shield on its chest, holding arrows and an olive branch, with the legend “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA” and denomination “50 C.” It was struck in 89.24% silver and 10.76% copper. In AG (About Good) condition, the coin is heavily worn, with outlines and details barely visible, but still identifiable.
