We are looking for a dedicated, mature and driven full-time employee for building fences and deck during the summer and home renovations all year round. You must have knowledge of working with tools, calculating and renovations. For fences and decks training will be provided. • YOU MUST HAVE A VALID CLEAN DRIVERS LICENCE

Here are some of the main activities and tasks that Construction trades helpers and labourers have to perform, and some of the physical demands they involve:

• Performs various physical duties as assigned.
• Maintain all safety standards.
• Load and unload construction materials and move materials to work areas. Heavy lifting up to 60 lbs is required
• Mix, pour and spread materials such as cement and concrete
• Assist tradespersons such as carpenters, cement finishers, painters, plumbers and glaziers in construction activities
• Assist heavy equipment operators to secure special attachments to equipment, signal operators to guide them in moving equipment and provide assistance in other activities
• Assist in digging and removal of rock at construction site
• Assist in demolishing fences, deck and home renovations such as kitchen, bathroom using prying bars and other tools, and sort, clean and pile salvaged materials
• Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites using rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows and other equipment
• Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction such as mixers, compressors and pumps
• Perform other activities at construction sites, as directed.
