1956 National Lap Steel & Amp

This combo pairing includes a National lap Steel guitar and a National amp made by Valco. Both were made in 1956.

The guitar has new Kluson tuners that replicate the original Kluson tuners. The volume and tone pots were scratchy so were cleaned with Deoxit. The instrument cable was also repaired.

The amplifier received a new grounded power cord, new electrolytic capacitors and the old paper and wax coupling capacitors. Extra tubes are also included.

The work on both the guitar and amp was performed by Red Rock Amps. I'd like to sell them to one person since they've been together since 1956.

The amp has had $515 worth of repairs done on it and the guitar has had $325 worth of repairs done on it. If you do an internet search, you will find similar instruments that are listed for $1,000 each and are in lesser condition.

I'm asking $1,600 for both the amp and guitar. If you want either one, the price is $900. Local residents are welcome to come by the shop for a test drive.
