We are seeking an experienced Horizontal Directional Drill Locator to join our dynamic team. Duties

Set up and operate horizontal directional drilling (HDD) equipment for underground installations.
Perform accurate locates for drilling operations using appropriate equipment
Collaborate with site supervisors, crew members, and engineering teams to plan and execute drilling activities according to project specifications.
Monitor drilling progress and make real-time adjustments to maintain alignment and depth.
Conduct pre-job inspections and routine maintenance on drilling equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Adhere to safety regulations and best practices to maintain a safe work environment.
Prepare and maintain accurate documentation of drilling operations, including daily reports and as-built plans.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during the drilling process, ensuring minimal downtime.

Wage to be negotiated, all out of town work, lots of hours with live out allowance and hotels paid for.

We currently have contracts to put fiber to homes mostly in rural area's in southern manitoba and saskatchewan.

Please have a valid drivers license, drilling locating experience preferred.
