Position Summary:

Our Brampton Terminal is currently seeking a Highway Dispatcher to join the team!

The purpose of a Highway Dispatcher at Boom Transport is to ensure efficient and cost-effective highway operations between domestic and US partners. A successful candidate will ensure that all shipments are matched, manifested, processed and dispatched in a timely manner to uphold our high standards for customer satisfaction.


Position Responsibilities:

Manage the day-to-day highway operations both domestic and international.
Process loads to depart and arrive accurately and in a timely manner.
Consolidate freight to maximize load factor and minimize loads.
Communicate with clients in a professional manner to meet their needs.
Position Qualifications:

Previous Dispatch experience, domestic or cross-border, is a strong asset.
Experience with MS Excel and Outlook is preferred.
Previous customer service experience is preferred.
Warehouse experience is preferred.
Administration experience with excellent attention to detail is preferred.
Ability to meet deadlines with high volumes of work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent oral and written communication skill.

We will train new committed and selected persons interested to join trucking industry.
